Shotbox Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Shotbox, operated by Aethon Digital ("Shotbox", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Shotbox does

Shotbox reads the text in screenshots and photos you choose to process, extracts useful details (such as links, prices, and addresses), and helps you organize and act on them. Text recognition runs on your device. Your images are not uploaded to us. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Shotbox.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the screenshots, photos, and data you process with Shotbox. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and process the content you use the app with.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Shotbox for any unlawful purpose or to process content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the app or its infrastructure.
• Use the app to infringe the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions

Shotbox offers an optional paid subscription (Shotbox Pro). Subscriptions are billed through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) under that store's terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law or app store policy.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice.

6. Free and paid features

Some features are free; others require a Pro subscription. We may change which features are included in each tier, with reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Third-party services

Shotbox can export to and integrate with third-party services at your direction (for example, Apple Notes, Notion, Linear, Google Sheets). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

9. Disclaimer

Shotbox is provided "as is." Text recognition and extraction may not be fully accurate. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted information will be correct. You are responsible for verifying any information you act on.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aethon Digital will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Shotbox at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
